Dennis Becker joined LexisNexis in 2007 as vice president for emerging markets, which includes responsibility for business strategy, market offerings and professional services for solutions ranging from identity verification to dynamic knowledge-based and biometric authentication for use in private and public sector applications and in developing identity trust frameworks. Additionally, Dennis is responsible for LexisNexis’ eCommerce, Payments, Retail, Communications, Utility and Provider Healthcare markets.
Prior to LexisNexis, Dennis launched an organization responsible for international business-to-business solutions at Acxiom and led sales, marketing and client operations for Acxiom’s Communications and Utilities vertical markets. Before that, he was responsible for strategy and new product development at Cendian Chemical Logistics. Prior to joining Cendian, Dennis served as vice president at Equifax, responsible for customer relationship management offerings, credit analytics and consulting services and direct-to-consumer information products. Dennis began his career at BellSouth where he was responsible for product management and commercialization of advanced technology lines of business.
Dennis currently serves on the board of The University of Texas Center for Identity and is a participant in the North American Security Products Organization (NASPO) Identity Proofing and Verification (IDPV) project, who’s charter is to create an American National Standard to define minimum standards for proof and verification of personal identity.
Dennis holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from University of Alabama with a degree in Economics.

Vice President of Identity Management
Ron Carpinella is Vice President of Identity Management at Equifax. In this position, he manages the company’s initiatives in User Centric Identity Management and has strategic oversight for product development and marketing efforts in this area. Before joining Equifax, Mr. Carpinella served in numerous leadership roles at prominent Internet media and technology companies such as Google, Veoh, Engage Media, Flycast, Fansonly and Relevant Knowledge.
Active in many industry organizations, Mr. Carpinella is a member of the Information Card Foundation and the the Center for Identity Management Research, among others. Mr. Carpinella earned a B.A. from Purdue University and an MBA from Duke University.

Vice President, Identity and Authentication Services
Nico Popp heads product development for VeriSign Trust Seal Services, now a Symantec business. Prior to this role, Nico was Vice President of Product for VeriSign Authentication Services. In that function, Nico had product management responsibility for the Managed PKI and strong authentication product lines. During his 7 years tenure at VeriSign, Nico has introduced several new products, including VeriSign Identity Protection (VIP), VeriSign Fraud Detection Service (FDS), the Personal Identity Portal (PIP) and VeriSign Trust Seal. Prior to VeriSign, Nico was chief technical officer for RealNames Corporation from 1997 to 2002. Nico was also co-inventor and engineering manager for WebObjects at NeXT Software and Apple Computer. Nico holds a M.S. degree in Robotics from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Aeronautics from Sup'Aero, France.

Executive Director
Don Thibeau is the Executive Director of The OpenID Foundation, an open community software identity standards organization representing leaders in Internet, enterprise and social media technology. He joined the foundation at the beginning of 2009 to represent the organization worldwide and position it for long-term growth. Thibeau has a rich background in the data, identity, and social layers of both the internet and the mobile computing channel. He has both enterprise experience and entrepreneurial management expertise in business models for data, analytics and web content. Thibeau has held senior management positions with leading organizations including Kodak, TransUnion, and LexisNexis. He was an original member of the Reed Elsevier Venture Fund.
Thibeau is a frequent guest speaker and has testified before Congress on topics including data privacy and regulatory issues. He is a member and contributor to e-citizen.org, OASIS, a Booz Allen Distinguished Speaker, and former Presidential appointee and author of numerous articles. He lives in the Washington DC area.
Thibeau serves as the Chair of the OIX Board.
