GDPR has made Subject Access Requests and data rights the front line of a new deal between citizens and organisations around our personal data. Tapmydata has faced the challenges of balancing Privacy by Design, security and blockchain technology and built a new channel for this Data Dialogue. We’ll share insights from users and organisations on the real state of health of our data rights in the UK and elsewhere.

4.15pm Local Authority Interoperable Digital Identity – Stuart Young, Etive
Synopsis: Discussing how the use of local authority data can be used to help ‘thin file’ citizens gain an assured identity, Verify, and gain a LoA2 (medium level of identity) enabling these citizens to access high value services and interact with Government and local authority services. Combined with this is the collaborative work between DWP and LAs on user journeys and identity verification to increase the digital participation of thin file citizens across DWP services as well. Look at Tower Hamlets services, technical design, governance and user testing with the GDS and Post Office.
