Transforming the Airline Passenger Journey
The estimated growth in air travel means that airports must optimise infrastructure and that airlines and government need to process passengers more efficiently and securely. To address the challenge of the ever-changing face of airline travel for all stakeholders, which can result in poor passenger experience the airline industry recognises that innovation is needed and that transformation through digital processes could reduce operational costs and improve the customer experience. This project explored how innovation in identity processes could underpin the passenger journey transformation, by focussing on the Advance Passenger Information (API) process.
